Support • 2008 Matching Grant Program with TCU

From Leisure Painters to Icons: Visionary Americans 1860 to Present • October 18, 2008- Janaury 11, 2009

This is a matching grant program with the TCU Foundation to help fund the 2008 Amercian Series exhibition titled From Leisure Painters to Icons: Visionary Americans 1860 to Present. This series of exhibitions explores the role of American art in shaping and expressing our national identity, values and aspirations. Four educational components are part or the exhibition that will be conducted as outreach, teacher supplments, tours, and studio events.

How it works: Any TCU Member may make a contribution towards the support of this exhibtion and its programming and it will be MATCHED dollar for dollar by the TCU Foundation, up to $5,000. TCU members should make their contributions payable to the SBRMA and note that you are a TCU member to ensure your contribution is matched. Membership at the SBRMA pays for itself. Included in your membership is free admission to special events, and Meet Me on the Island tickets. Only members of the SBRMA are admitted FREE to The Island. Student ($30): All of the above plus 20% member discount on classes, workshops and Youth Camp.

Senior ($30): All the above plus 2 tickets to each "Meet Me on the Island/Gallery" event, and a 10% discount on purchases from art work from gallery exhibitions.

Individual ($40): All the above plus 2 tickets to each "Meet Me on the Island/Gallery" event, and a 10% discount on purchases from art work from gallery exhibitions.

Household ($60):All the above plus 2 tickets to each "Meet Me on the Island/Gallery" event, and a 10% discount on purchases from art work from gallery exhibitions.

Sustaining ($100): All of the above plus one (1) New Group Event (see below).

Supporting ($250): All of the above plus admission to a full season of New Group Events .

Donor ($500): All of the above plus complimentary exhibition catalogues and a complimentary Household Membership for a buddy.

Benefactor ($1000): All of the above plus one-time use a SBRMA gallery for a party.
